This year at TeleMiracle, I would like to honour the memory of a friend who left us last September.

Joe Jackson was an amazing, kind, caring, and very selfless friend. My performance this year will be dedicated to him.

He loved to sing and play the fiddle and any other instrument he could get his hands on. He had an amazing voice, and his sense of fashion was unmatched. His ability to make people laugh was a talent in itself. I was blessed and always honoured whenever I had the chance to sing alongside him. He was often the reason I didn’t give up singing simply because I knew he wouldn’t allow it. He believed in people. He saw the good and the beauty in everyone, and I know that if he saw me performing, he’d be giving me two thumbs up!
